The platform guides users through key project parameters such as research goals, species selection, severity classification, and application of the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement). Based on adjustable metrics like success likelihood, scientific uncertainty, and humane endpoints, the system generates an objective ethics assessment and documentation outputs including non-technical summaries and verdict reports. It also integrates a live NCBI gene lookup to support scientific justification. The tool helps ensure transparency, regulatory alignment, and responsible animal welfare practices in scientific research.
